Job Description/Overview:
Shepparton Villages is a leading provider of retirement living and aged care services across the Greater Shepparton area. We are committed to promoting the health and wellbeing of our residents and employees, and strive to create a positive and inclusive workplace culture. We are currently seeking Personal Care Workers (PCWs) to join our team in our residential aged care facilities located in Shepparton, Kialla, and Mooroopna. This position involves all aspects of daily resident care, including completing Assisted Daily Living (ADLs) tasks and ensuring residents are safe and emotionally supported.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide personal care and support to residents.
– Complete Assisted Daily Living (ADLs) tasks.
– Work as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of the facilities.
– Follow policies, processes, and instructions.
– Ensure residents are safe and emotionally supported.
Qualifications needed:
– Minimum qualification of Certificate III or IV in Aged Care.
– Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Experience:
– Demonstrated experience in residential aged care.
– Proven experience working effectively in a team.
Skills:
– High level of listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
– Sound time management and organizational skills.
– Ability to problem-solve low to medium complexity issues and escalate when appropriate.
