Job Description/Overview:

- Experience maintaining and servicing pumps highly advantageous
This role has become available due to retirement. The person retiring will be available to mentor and assist with a gradual and full handover, giving all of his tricks and knowledge over in the process. He is eager to pass on his knowledge and really help the person taking over.
You will be an experienced supervisor who understands and will work towards meeting all contract requirements and client expectations
Key Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for managing
- and directing pumps and reservoirs service work crews, to ensure efficient and effective operation.
- Managing contract staffing levels, training and development, arranging rosters and managing workload, maintaining good relationships and handling problems effectively.
- Work towards meeting all contract requirements and client expectations.
Qualifications needed
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Water Construction or Maintenance Industry. This includes people with a background in electrical, irrigation, plumbing or fitting and turning.
- Proven excellence managing staff.
- Sound knowledge of plant operation and maintenance for pumps and reservoir activities including well pump servicing, repairs, and installation.
- Safety Supervisors cert as well as working knowledge of the Health & Safety in Employment Act
- Class 1 Drivers License (essential!)
