Job Description/Overview:
Are you passionate about optimising processes, managing projects, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency within transport operations?
Based across our Waikato depots, we are looking for a dynamic Quality and Process Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in facilitating projects, improving processes, and driving operational excellence. The ideal applicant would have a passion for analysing data, balancing multiple projects, and compliance
Key Responsibilities
- Involvement on large projects, ensuring successful planning, execution, and completion
- Identify discrepancies and improvement opportunities, taking proactive action to rectify these, involving others as required
- Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) based on thorough investigations and analyses to ensure consistent implementation and operational excellence
- Conduct thorough analysis of existing processes related to transport
- Develop and implement protocols for damage prevention, risk mitigation, and adherence to industry standards and regulations
- Investigate new technology solutions to drive operational performance improvements
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements
Qualifications needed
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects within time, budget, and scope
- Familiarity with operational tools such as LEAN and CI
- Effective leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills at all levels
- Strong problem-solving skills and lateral thinking
- Proficiency in project management tools, data analysis software, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Flexibility in hours and location
Experience:
- Proven experience in project management, process optimisation, and quality assurance within the transport or manufacturing industry
