Job Description/Overview:
ABOUT YOU SE & Co. KG is seeking a skilled and passionate Lead Technical Writer to join our Resource Center. This role involves managing all technical documentation for SCAYLE, our eCommerce infrastructure product. As a Lead Technical Writer, you will oversee documentation projects from strategy through content creation, lead a team, and ensure the highest quality of technical documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
– Independently manage documentation projects from strategy and conception to content creation.
– Lead and support your team, establishing a motivational culture.
– Evaluate and improve internal procedures and documentation processes.
– Write technical specifications, reports, and manuals for end-user documentation.
– Analyze and verify technical literature and documentation.
– Lead investigations for critical and major deviations.
– Assist team members in understanding SCAYLE products.
– Work in an international environment with flat hierarchies and quick decision-making processes.
Qualifications needed:
– Deep understanding of technical documentation and business processes.
– Excellent communication skills and ability to understand different perspectives.
– Proactive, well-organized, and able to manage projects and deadlines effectively.
– Enthusiastic about information technology.
– Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
– Strong tech/developer background.
Nice to Have:
– eCommerce experience.
– Familiarity with APIs and development SDKs.
– Fluency in German.
Experience: Strong tech/developer background and experience in technical documentation.
Skills:
– Technical writing and content creation.
– Stakeholder management and team leadership.
– Business process evaluation and documentation.
