We are pleased to present our latest opportunity for a Theatre Nurse specialising in Orthopaedics to join the team at Mercy Ascot, one of the largest Private Surgical Facilities in New Zealand.
About the Role
The role | Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse in Orthopaedic Operating Theatres
We are currently seeking experienced Theatre Nurses with prior operating room experience in orthopaedics to join Mercy Ascot’s highly trained teams at either Mercy or Ascot Hospital. The FTE for this role can be flexible – get in touch today!
Shifts are a mix of 6 hours, 8 hours and 10 hours and are rostered across Monday to Saturday (plus some on-call). Start times are between 07:00 and 12:00, with the latest finish at 20:30.
Working with some of the highest calibre surgeons and theatre teams in the country, state of the art equipment, and their purpose-built facilities, you will have the best resources at your fingertips to develop and excel in your career. Qualifications needed
- MUST be a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse with Operating Room experience (either paediatrics or adults)
- MUST have a current APC
- Highly desirable for operating experience in orthopaedics
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team
- Commitment to personal and professional development
- Australian/New Zealand Residency or be eligible to apply for a work visa
