Job Description/Overview:
Spuerkeess is actively seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to strengthen its IT Administration & Support team.
- Monitoring SOC alerts and defining new detection cases for the SOC
- Vulnerability Management and Cyber Threat Intelligence
- Cyber Incident Response
- High-level follow-up of penetration tests
- Establishing security strategies
- Writing technical standards and security procedures
- Managing IT security projects and collaborating with the bank’s IT department teams
- Providing security advice and participating in various projects

Qualifications needed
- Holder of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT
- Professional experience in cybersecurity is an advantage
- Proficiency in French and English; knowledge of Luxembourgish is an advantage
Skills:
Technical skills:
- The acquisition of these skills can be achieved through training provided by the bank during the onboarding and integration period.
Business skills:
- Confirmed skills in IT security
- Good knowledge of cyber incident response
- Good knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework tactics and techniques
- Confirmed skills in IT system structures
- Basic knowledge of project management (processes, stakeholders, ROI, budget)
- Basic knowledge of writing notes, reporting, and summaries
Regulatory skills:
- Good knowledge of ISO 27002 (Code of practice for information security controls)
- Good knowledge of TIBER (Threat Intelligence Based Ethical Redteaming)
- Good knowledge of IT security regulations
IT and digital skills:
- Good knowledge of project management tools (e.g., MS Project)
- Good knowledge of programming or scripting languages (VBA, Powershell, Python)
- Good knowledge of technological monitoring (new digital technologies
