Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week

Job Description:
Mount Alverno Resort and Retreat is seeking a Security Guard Supervisor to oversee security operations at our hotel resort. Responsibilities include scheduling work, coordinating activities with other departments, handling emergency situations, supervising security guards, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures and company policies.
Responsibilities:
– Schedule work and arrange maintenance and repair tasks
– Coordinate activities with other departments
– Monitor quality and production levels
– Prepare and submit progress reports
– Order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
– Resolve work problems and provide technical advice
– Supervise and schedule security guard activities
– Train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and policies
– Establish work schedules and procedures
Requirements:
– Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
– 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
– CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and Security Guard License required
Work Conditions:
– Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
– Fast-paced environment
– Standing for extended periods
– Work under pressure
Personal Suitability:
– Efficient interpersonal skills
– Excellent oral and written communication skills
– Judgement, organization, reliability, and ability to work well in a team
