Job Description/Overview:
We are seeking a registered Mental Health Counsellor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mental health, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality care. You will work either in the morning shift from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm or in the afternoon shift from 2:30 pm to 9:00 pm, depending on your preference.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual counselling sessions to clients.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
- Participate in regular supervision sessions.
- Contribute to continuous professional development (CPD) hours.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
Qualifications needed
- Must be a registered member of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors (NZAC).
- At least two years of proven experience as a mental health counsellor.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical practice.
