  • Employment Type: Part Time (3 days), Fixed Term until June 30, 2027, with an option for renewal subject to funding.
  • Pro-rate $90,000 plus superannuation
  • Responsible to COO and Executive Team

Job Description/Overview:

Landcare NSW is the peak body of community-led conservation and natural resource management in NSW. With up to 3000 Landcare Groups and 60,000 volunteers, Landcare NSW is the conduit between local Landcare communities and funders and decision-makers, supporting local Landcare communities by providing resources and representation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Executive Team including the Finance Team, including payroll (Xero).
  • Manage the updates to the HR System (BrightHR).
  • Support the Membership Team by providing support to the operation of Salesforce (as appropriate and as required).
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and take minutes for executive team meetings.
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of reports, presentations, and other documents for the Executive Team.
  • Manage executive team calendars, including scheduling appointments and managing travel arrangements (as appropriate and as required).
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the Executive Team.
  • Organise and maintain executive files and records, ensuring easy retrieval and secure storage.
  • Assist in organising and coordinating events, workshops, and conferences (as appropriate and as required).
  • Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining records, and managing correspondence.
  • Provide support for special projects and initiatives as directed by the Executive Team. 
  • Ensure office equipment is maintained, including anticipating needs, placing orders, and verifying receipt of supplies including for PCs.

Qualifications needed

Qualifications/experience in general administration and/or business management.

Experience

  • Proven experience in a NFP organisation, with experience in administration, financial reporting, operations, and human resources.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Able to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
  • Be a self-starter and able to work alone as well as part of a geographically dispersed team
  • Stakeholder engagement experience with the ability to navigate and understand the viewpoints of volunteers, hosts, committees, funding bodies and Government departments.
  • Experience working with Landcare and/ or similar grassroots community-led movements would also be highly regarded.
