Full Job Description:
Curtain Concepts, a custom curtain and roman blind workroom, is looking for an experienced sewing machinist to join our small team of professional makers. We offer part-time hours to start, with a preference for candidates interested in transitioning to full-time and growing with the company by taking on more responsibilities in the future.
Responsibilities:
– Operate various industrial sewing machines, such as plain stitch, blind stitch, and overlockers
– Produce high-quality products with attention to detail
– Communicate effectively with the team
Requirements:
– Confidence in operating industrial sewing machines
– Sharp eye for detail
– Willingness to learn and grow within the company
– Good communication skills
Work Environment:
– Tidy workroom
– Friendly and supportive team
– Playful dog for breaks
– Flexible hours and days
– No dress code
– Free scones every Wednesday
– Short days on Fridays
