Job Description/Overview:
The Housekeeper will perform a variety of light cleaning and housekeeping duties for a private residence. Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, laundry services, and assisting with household errands. The ideal candidate should be organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage repetitive tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
– Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
– Dust furniture and vacuum carpets, rugs, and upholstered furniture.
– Make beds and change linens.
– Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures.
– Disinfect rooms and maintain cleanliness.
– Launder and mend household linens and clothing.
– Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
– Shop for household supplies as required.
Qualifications:
– No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
– Experience is an asset.
Experience:
Experience in housekeeping or cleaning is preferred but not mandatory.
Skills:
– Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
– Strong attention to detail.
– Good physical stamina for handling the required duties.
