Job Description/Overview:
The apprentice carpenter will assist in various construction tasks, including reading blueprints, building foundations, and maintaining wooden structures. The work involves physically demanding tasks in noisy and dusty environments. The job must be performed on-site, with no option for remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
– Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements.
– Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials.
– Build foundations, install floor beams, and erect walls and roof systems.
– Maintain, repair, and renovate wooden structures in various establishments.
Qualifications:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Experience:
1 to less than 7 months.
Skills:
– Ability to handle physically demanding tasks.
– Proficiency in using construction tools and equipment.
