Position Overview
This is a full-time, remote role within our Content Marketing Department. You will be responsible for producing search engine-optimized content to increase traffic, leads, and sales.
Work Hours: 7 AM – 4 PM PT, Monday – Friday (flexible schedule based on results, not hours). Occasionally, additional hours may be required during launches or special events.
Mission of the Role
The SEO Content Writer will play a key role in driving the growth and profitability of Community Influencer® by creating high-quality, optimized educational blog posts and digital content for real estate professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Write SEO-driven blog posts that generate organic traffic, leads, and sales.
- Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to optimize content.
- Develop compelling, click-worthy headlines that attract search engine users.
- Research real estate marketing topics to provide fresh insights to our audience.
- Regularly update and maintain content to ensure relevance and accuracy.
- Analyze performance metrics and adjust content strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with designers, SEO specialists, and content creators to enhance blog content.
- Proofread, edit, and ensure consistency in brand voice and style.
- Identify content gaps and propose new content opportunities.
- Write and optimize content for affiliate products, brand partners, and sponsors.
What We’re Looking For
- SEO Expertise: Deep understanding of SEO best practices, keyword research, and content structuring.
- Content Marketing Experience: Ability to create engaging, value-driven content that attracts and retains audiences.
- Editing & Quality Control: Strong proofreading and editing skills to ensure error-free, brand-aligned content.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop creative content angles and marketing strategies.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to evaluate content performance and make data-driven optimizations.
- Tech-Savvy: Experience with WordPress, Elementor, Google Analytics, Semrush, SEO Surfer, and ClickUp is a plus.
- Collaborative Team Player: Work closely with the CEO, Content Manager, and Marketing Team.
- Adaptability & Speed: Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or a related field.
- 3+ years of SEO content writing experience, preferably in real estate or digital marketing.
- Portfolio of work showcasing SEO-optimized content.
- Experience with content management systems (WordPress, Elementor).
- Experience in PR pitching for online publications, podcasts, and conferences is a plus.
- Enthusiasm for details, deadlines, and organization.
- Prior experience working remotely in a fast-moving team environment preferred.
