Position Overview
Maximus Health is looking for a Freelance Content Writer to create engaging, scientifically accurate content related to men’s health, fitness, nutrition, mental well-being, and lifestyle. The ideal candidate should have experience writing editorial-style content and a passion for men’s health topics, with a strong understanding of SEO best practices to enhance online visibility.
This position is fully remote, allowing flexibility to work from anywhere in the US.
Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Write compelling, evidence-based articles on men’s health, fitness, nutrition, mental well-being, and lifestyle.
- Research: Conduct in-depth research to ensure all content is scientifically accurate and up-to-date with the latest findings.
- SEO Optimization: Implement SEO strategies, including keyword research and on-page optimization, to improve content visibility.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the editorial and marketing teams to align content with Maximus Health’s brand voice and goals.
- Content Revision: Revise and edit content based on feedback to ensure it meets quality standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Science, or a related field (advanced degrees are a plus).
- Experience: 4-5+ years of experience in science writing, journalism, or editorial roles, preferably in men’s health.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of scientific concepts and the ability to simplify them for a general audience.
- Proven experience writing for men’s lifestyle publications or similar outlets.
- Excellent written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in SEO best practices and tools.
- Work Ethic:
