Position Summary
As a Salesforce Developer, you will support and enhance Seaman Corporation’s Salesforce platform. Collaborating closely with stakeholders and the Salesforce team, you will develop and implement technical solutions that align with business goals. This position involves maintaining, improving, and optimizing the Salesforce environment while ensuring superior client-facing service and technical support.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, and other custom code solutions to meet business requirements.
- Test, evaluate, and complete development tasks as directed by the Salesforce Manager.
- Refactor legacy code to reduce technical debt and improve system performance.
- Balance the use of declarative tools versus custom code solutions following best practices.
- Participate in stakeholder meetings as a technical resource to discuss platform capabilities and limitations.
- Continuously enhance custom code applications to improve performance, security, and data integrity.
- Provide administrative support, including user training, dashboard creation, and general inquiries.
- Maintain technical documentation for project design and implementation.
- Follow established deployment standards and recommend system performance enhancements.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Salesforce development, including Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce, and declarative tools.
- Strong understanding of coding best practices for data quality, security, and integrity.
- Experience refactoring legacy code and managing technical debt.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Salesforce administrative tasks, including dashboards and reporting.
