Position Overview
We are seeking a Content Creator and Communications Coordinator to help grow our brand’s social media presence, support internal communications, and foster engagement with our online community. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, creative individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for storytelling, social media, and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Develop and post engaging content for social media platforms (Meta, TikTok, X, SnapChat, YouTube, etc.).
- Community Engagement: Monitor and respond to social media interactions to maintain a positive, engaging online presence.
- Internal Communications: Draft and distribute company memos and announcements with professionalism and alignment to brand voice.
- Campaign Support: Assist with social media and email campaigns, including scheduling posts and gathering feedback.
- Content Calendar Management: Organize and maintain a consistent social media posting schedule.
- Analytics: Track and analyze social media performance to provide insights for improvement.
- Research: Stay informed on social media trends and hospitality industry news to keep content relevant.
- Collaboration: Work with team members on marketing projects, product launches, and events, ensuring strong relationships with suppliers, printers, and media outlets.
Qualifications
- Education: Post-secondary diploma or degree.
- Experience and Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and marketing tools (HubSpot, Sprout Social, etc. preferred).
- Basic graphic design experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
- Photography and photo editing skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Team player with a resourceful and proactive attitude.
