Job Description/Overview:
Sanders Senior Living is seeking an experienced and compassionate Commissioning Care Home Manager to lead and manage daily operations at The Belmont care home. This role involves staff management, ensuring high standards of care, and creating a supportive, enriching environment for residents. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in luxury care home management and a commitment to delivering exceptional person-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the care home, managing and mentoring staff.
Uphold high standards of care and foster a nurturing environment for residents.
Drive occupancy by marketing the home effectively.
Maintain a track record of achieving Good CQC ratings.
Develop and implement person-centered care plans, particularly for individuals with dementia.
Qualifications:
NVQ Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care (or working towards it).
Proven experience in luxury care home management.
Knowledge of dementia care and person-centered care planning.
Experience:
Demonstrated success in managing a high-occupancy, privately funded care home.
Experience in motivating and developing staff teams.
Strong history of achieving positive CQC inspections.
Skills:
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive attitude with a commitment to high-quality resident care.

Additional Information:
Salary: £85,000 per annum
Hours: 40 per week
