We are seeking a Commerce Assistant to join our Commerce and Affiliate Marketing team, which focuses on creating articles designed to generate revenue through product sales. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about marketing, shopping, and product trends.
Position Overview:
As a part-time Commerce Assistant, you will support the Commerce and Affiliate Marketing team by identifying and linking affiliate products in articles, coordinating with editors and writers, and analyzing performance data to inform strategies. This is a flexible, remote position requiring a commitment of 3-4 full days per week during standard business hours.
Responsibilities:
- Identify the best affiliate products for inclusion in articles and add relevant affiliate product links.
- Coordinate with editors and writers to ensure seamless integration of affiliate products.
- Monitor performance analytics and use insights to inform content strategy.
- Research trending products and popular categories to feature in BDG articles.
- Assist in testing optimal affiliate strategies across various social media platforms.
Requirements:
- Prior internship or work experience in business, marketing, advertising, analytics, e-commerce, or a related field is preferred.
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable using spreadsheets and basic data analysis programs.
- Availability for 28 hours per week (ideally spread across four days, with flexibility).
