Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SEO Content Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will create SEO-optimized content for our ecommerce sites, including product detail pages (PDPs), product listing pages (PLPs), landing pages, and category pages. You will have the opportunity to work with generative AI tools to enhance content creation and drive traffic and conversions through high-quality, optimized writing.
Key Responsibilities:
Write and optimize content for PDPs, PLPs, landing pages, and category pages to drive traffic and conversions.
Use generative AI tools to assist with content creation and optimization, while ensuring quality control and human oversight.
Conduct keyword research and apply SEO best practices to increase organic traffic.
Update and maintain product descriptions, specifications, and other ecommerce content for accuracy and consistency.
Implement on-page SEO strategies, such as keyword placement and internal linking, to improve SERP rankings.
Continuously monitor and optimize content based on performance metrics, including traffic, conversions, and rankings.
Stay current on SEO, ecommerce content trends, and AI-driven writing innovations.
Assist in developing content strategies to improve user experience and drive sales growth.
Ensure content maintains the brand’s voice and follows style guidelines.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field preferred (but not required).
Proven experience in SEO writing, particularly in ecommerce.
Familiarity with generative AI tools like ChatGPT, Jasper, or Copy.ai for content creation.
Strong understanding of on-page SEO, keyword research, and Google search algorithms.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Basic knowledge of HTML and web publishing is a plus.
Analytical mindset and ability to optimize content based on performance data.

Salary:
$65,000 – $70,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Actual compensation will vary based on education, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may differ by location.
