Position: Support Worker

Job Description/Overview:
HRM Homecare is looking for reliable and passionate Carers who are committed to making a difference in their local community. This flexible role requires at least two weekends or six shifts, including one weekend per month. Carers will provide personal care, social support, and assistance with daily living activities to help individuals live comfortably in their own homes. Responsibilities may include washing, dressing, toileting, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship.
Key Responsibilities:
Washing and dressing service users
Providing personal care, including catheter care, stoma care, and toileting
Meal preparation and assistance
Providing social and emotional support
Administering medication
Assisting with light housekeeping tasks
Offering companionship and accompanying service users to appointments and social events
Cooperating with health and social care providers
Qualifications:
Friendly, kind, and compassionate with a genuine desire to care for others
Willingness to learn and develop
Excellent communication skills

Experience:
Previous experience in caregiving is beneficial but not required.
