Senior Site Manager

Job Description/Overview:

We are seeking a Number 1 Site Manager to oversee the construction of eight traditional build houses, each two and a half stories, in Croydon. The project is currently at the demolition stage and is expected to run until the end of 2025.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Manage all aspects of the site, from groundworks through to final handover.

 

Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and the project team to ensure timely delivery of the build to the highest standards.

 

Oversee health and safety protocols, ensuring compliance with all regulations.

 

Conduct quality inspections and monitor work progress against the project plan.

 

Address any on-site issues or design/specification changes, ensuring smooth communication among stakeholders.

 

Attend regular site meetings and provide updates to the senior management team.

 

Requirements:

 

Proven experience as a Number 1 Site Manager, preferably in traditional build residential projects.

 

Strong understanding of groundworks, construction methods, and health and safety regulations.

 

Excellent leadership and communication skills.

 

Ability to drive a project from start to finish while maintaining quality and safety standards.

 

Long-term career mindset, with interest in future projects within the company.

Salary/Rate: £65,000 – £75,000 per annum
