About the Role:
As an SMB Outbound Account Executive at Motive, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth by working with our largest line of business. SMB customers form the majority of our customer base, representing our biggest revenue stream. We are looking for highly motivated sales professionals who are competitive, driven, and excellent communicators. You should have a hunger for success, be humble and coachable, and relentless in achieving your goals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-volume cold calling to prospect new business and make outbound sales calls.
- Deliver software demos to prospective fleet managers and drivers.
- Survey prospects to understand their business pain points and align them with Motive’s solutions.
- Educate fleet managers and drivers about Motive’s offerings and assist them in getting started.
- Maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified prospects and provide accurate revenue forecasts.
- Meet and exceed daily KPIs and monthly sales quotas.
What We’re Looking For:
- 1 to 2 years of outbound sales experience, preferably with international clients (US/Canada/UK).
- Strong end-to-end ownership of the sales cycle, from prospecting to closing.
- Self-starter with a passion for learning in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey key value propositions and handle objections.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a dynamic work environment.
- Experience with Salesforce, G-suite, MS Office, and general technical aptitude is preferred.
