Position: Carer / Support Worker

Job Description/Overview:
Alcedo Care Bury is seeking experienced Complex Care Workers to join our expanding team. This role involves working in clients’ homes, providing specialized care under the guidance of our Registered Nurses. All training and competency sign-offs will be conducted by our nursing team. Shifts range from 4-12 hours, including waking nights, based on a two-week schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Tracheostomy care
Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG) care
Monitoring and responding to ventilation needs
Administering nebulizers
Oral and tracheal suction care
Administering medications
Pressure area and skin care
Supporting clients’ communication needs
Full personal care
Salary:
£14.00 to £14.50 per hour, plus holiday pay, mileage, and pension.

Qualifications/Experience:
Care experience (preferred but not essential) in roles such as Healthcare Assistant, Care Assistant, Support Worker, or Home Carer.
No previous complex care experience is required as full training will be provided.
