Job Description/Overview
Liffey Valley Services provides residential support to adults with intellectual disabilities. Available positions:
Full-time Social Care Worker: 39 hours per week over 7 days.
Relief Social Care Worker (Permanent): Minimum 30 hours per week over 7 days.
Salary
€38,451 – €54,445 (HSE Consolidated pay scales and pension apply).
Key Responsibilities
Provide person-centred care to individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Support individuals in their daily lives and ensure adherence to HIQA standards.
Qualifications
Minimum Level 7 QQI qualification in Social Care.
Candidates must be qualified from institutions listed on the CORU website and either registered or ready to register with CORU.
Experience
Experience in the intellectual disability sector is desirable.
Knowledge of HIQA standards and relevant legislation related to Intellectual Disability Residential services.
Experience in Person-Centred Planning.
Skills
Advocacy, human rights, and person-centred support.
Driving
A full, clean manual driving licence is required. Driving is essential for all roles.
