Job Description/Overview:
Toronto Infotech Inc is seeking a Software Engineer to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time position requiring on-site work. The successful candidate will work on developing and maintaining computer-based systems and software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect and document user requirements.
Coordinate the development, installation, integration, and operation of computer-based systems.
Develop software solutions by studying system flow, data usage, and work processes.
Evaluate the performance and reliability of system designs.
Prepare maintenance plans for software.
Research technical information to design, develop, and test computer-based systems.
Lead and coordinate teams of information systems professionals in developing software and integrated information systems, including robotic process automation.
Operate testing equipment to ensure product quality and perform security and quality controls.
Consult with clients post-sale to provide ongoing support and conduct tests to document results of software application tests and telecommunication systems tests.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
1 to less than 2 years of experience in software development.
Experience:
Previous experience in software development or related roles is required.
Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Salary:
$53.00 hourly for 35 to 40 hours per week.
