Job Description/Overview:
Nassa Excavating Ltd. is seeking skilled Dump Truck Drivers to transport goods and materials while ensuring the safety and efficiency of operations. The ideal candidate will have a secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Address customers’ complaints or concerns professionally.
Demonstrate mountain driving expertise.
Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.
Load and unload goods.
Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
Oversee the condition of the vehicle, including inspecting tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage.
Perform emergency roadside repairs and brake adjustments.
Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
Perform preventive maintenance and record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.
Ensure safety and security of cargo by tarping when necessary.
Valid Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles).
Experience:
1 to 2 years of relevant experience.
