Job Description/Overview:
An exciting opportunity has opened for an experienced Office Coordinator to join The King’s Head, a historic pub in Aylesbury. As part of the Chiltern Brewery family, the business has a rich heritage of over 40 years. This role ensures the smooth operation of the pub’s administrative functions, supporting finance, HR, customer service, event coordination, and marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
– Manage financial processes including invoicing, banking, and reporting, while identifying areas for improvement.
– Oversee staff rotas, holidays, and absences, as well as support recruitment efforts.
– Assist with procurement and supplier relationships to maintain optimal stock levels.
– Support marketing and events to enhance visibility and increase revenue.
– Deliver excellent customer service, including managing event space bookings.
Qualifications:
– Strong background in administration, preferably in the hospitality sector.
– Excellent communication and organisational skills.
– Ability to take initiative and continuously seek process improvements.
Experience:
– Experience managing financial processes and administrative duties.
– Previous work in hospitality administration is ideal.
Skills:
– Strong customer service and communication skills.
– Proficiency in financial reporting and administration.
– Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Shift Pattern:
– Part-time, 30 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM).
– Occasional weekend work may be required.
Salary:
– £12.80 – £13.50 per hour.
