Job Description/Overview:
The Maternity Support Worker in the Antenatal Clinic will play a key role in supporting clinical teams, providing patient care under the supervision of registered midwives. You will be expected to complete the Trust’s Clinical Induction Programme for Clinical Support Workers upon starting. The programme lasts for two weeks and includes classroom-based learning and clinical shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
– Assist midwives in delivering care to antenatal patients.
– Support clinical tasks and ensure smooth operations within the clinic.
– Participate in corporate and clinical induction programs.
Qualifications:
– Completion of pre-employment checks and clearance from a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check.
– Candidates should be able to attend full-time induction programs.
Experience:
Previous experience in a clinical support role is preferred but not required.
Skills:
– Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
– Compassionate approach to patient care.
– Organisational skills to assist with both clinical and clerical tasks.

Additional Information:
The salary range for this position is £24,071 to £25,674 per year. Appointment is subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS Check.
