Job Description/Overview:
2429104 Alberta Ltd is seeking a Farm Labourer to assist with general farm tasks, including livestock care and crop management, at their rural farm. The role will involve working in all weather conditions on a variety of farming operations such as broiler chicken, goat, rabbit, and turkey farming.
Key Responsibilities:
– Monitor animal health and assist with treating livestock health issues.
– Perform livestock feeding.
– Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops.
– Perform wedding and assist with crop harvesting.
Supervision:
– Oversee and supervise 1 to 2 people.
Work Environment:
– The work involves being outdoors in all weather conditions, with duties spanning broiler chicken, goat, rabbit, and turkey farming.
Qualifications:
– Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
– Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of related experience.
Salary:
– $15.00 hourly for 20 hours per week.
Workplace Information:
– Work is completed on-site in a rural area with no option for remote work.
