Job Description/Overview:
The Health Care Support Worker (HCSW) will join the multidisciplinary team to provide care to patients. No previous experience as a HCA or in care is necessary, but candidates must demonstrate enthusiasm, commitment, and a compassionate attitude towards working with patients. A commitment to completing all necessary training, including the Care Certificate, is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide personal care to patients as directed by the healthcare team
– Assist in maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients
– Support the healthcare team in delivering high standards of care
Qualifications:
– Desirable: Healthcare-related NVQ, BTEC, or equivalent at Level 3
– National Care Certificate
Experience:
– Previous care experience is preferred but not essential
Skills:
– Demonstrated enthusiasm and commitment to patient care
– Compassionate attitude and strong communication skills
– Ability to work effectively within a team
