Job Description/Overview:
As the Construction Project Manager, you will lead and manage all construction aspects of a specific building project from start to finish to secure delivery of a safe, compliant, sustainable, and innovative property solution based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
– Ensure delivery of safe, compliant, sustainable, and innovative property solutions that meet business needs.
– Engage with designers and contractors to find cost-efficient and innovative project delivery methods.
– Collaborate with Procurement to identify the best sourcing options and strategies.
– Implement construction project delivery strategies, methods, and procedures.
– Manage project estimate, budget & cost management, delivery, and procurement strategies.
– Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
– Manage architectural and engineering design processes according to Ingka standards.
– Lead cooperation between internal teams and external partners.
– Ensure satisfactory hand-over of completed areas for retail build-up.
Qualifications:
– Academic degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
– A minimum of 10 years of experience in contracting, consulting, or construction management.
– Experience in the retail sector.
– Proven skills in procurement processes and contract negotiations.
– Strong communication skills in English.
Experience:
– Extensive experience in construction management on-site.
– Proven ability to develop and mentor team members.
Skills:
– Project management expertise, particularly in scheduling and risk management.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders effectively.

Additional Information:
– Competitive starting salary from £55,000 per year.

– You will work 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a minimum of 8 days per month in the office and the remainder working remotely.
