Job Description/Overview:
XYZ Reality is a cutting-edge construction tech start-up transforming the industry with custom augmented reality hardware and innovative software solutions. We are seeking a passionate Backend Software Engineer eager to grow within our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
– Work closely with senior engineers to define scope, effort, and technical specifications.
– Collaborate to enhance the engineering culture and shared backend framework.
– Actively participate in a practical R&D and product-driven culture.
– Learn new technologies and contribute to various areas within the company as needed.
Qualifications:
– Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
– Basic understanding of NodeJS and Express programming.
– Familiarity with MongoDB, MySQL, or NoSQL.
– Exposure to Test Driven Development (TDD) or Behavioural Driven Development (BDD).
Experience:
– Familiarity with server-side development concepts and principles.
– Exposure to database technologies, preferably relational databases.
Skills:
– Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
– Effective communication and collaboration skills.
– Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks.
