Job Overview:  

M&S is seeking a Customer Assistant to provide a great shopping experience, putting customers first and promoting the company’s products. As the face of the business, the role involves understanding customer needs and delivering excellent service.

 

Key Responsibilities:  

– Serve customers efficiently both on the shop floor and at service points  

– Maintain a clean, well-stocked store  

– Engage with customers, understand their needs, and make product recommendations  

– Deliver on daily sales targets and promotions  

– Build expert knowledge of products to assist customers  

– Use digital tools and communication channels to enhance customer experience  

 

Key Skills:  

– Strong customer service focus  

– Great attention to detail and accountability  

– Good communication and listening skills  

– Adaptability to changing situations  

– Good digital capability  

Pay: £13.15 an hour
