Job Description/Overview:
DEV Constructions is looking for a skilled Painter to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint and other materials, and advising on colour choices. This full-time position requires attention to detail and physical stamina to perform tasks such as bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Key Responsibilities:
– Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted.
– Repair cracks and holes.
– Mix paint to desired colour and texture.
– Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabrics to walls.
– Advise consumers on colours and wall coverings.
– Apply paint, wallpaper, and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
– Estimate costs and materials.
Qualifications:
– Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
– 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in painting.
Experience:
– Previous painting experience is required, with attention to detail and knowledge of materials.
Skills:
– Client focus, flexibility, initiative, and teamwork.
– Physical capability to perform demanding tasks such as bending, crouching, and kneeling.
