Job Description/Overview:
Step Teachers is seeking a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Norwich for a long-term position starting in September 2024. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons, assess student progress, and contribute to the overall success of the Maths department.
Key Responsibilities:
– Deliver effective Mathematics lessons across various year groups.
– Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
– Foster a positive learning environment to enhance student confidence in Maths.
– Collaborate with colleagues to share best teaching practices and strategies.
Qualifications:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
– Degree in Mathematics or a related field.
Experience:
– Proven experience as a Maths Teacher at the secondary school level.
Skills:
– Strong knowledge of the UK Maths curriculum.
– Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to inspire and motivate students.
