Education

Experience
– 1 to less than 7 months
Responsibilities
– Load and unload goods
– Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
– Oversee vehicle condition, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage
– Perform brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs
– Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
– Perform preventive maintenance
– Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption
– Transport and handle dangerous goods
Credentials
– Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
– Driver’s License (Class 1 or A)
Documentation Knowledge
– Dangerous goods occurrence reports
– Driver logbook
– Inspection reports
– Maintenance and repair reports
– Trip reports
Who Can Apply
– Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary residents of Canada
