Job Description/Overview
Unique Senior Care is seeking a Live-In Carer to provide various non-medical services, including companionship, meal preparation, personal shopping, medication administration, and home assistance. This role offers a flexible rota and opportunities for career progression.
Key Responsibilities
– Providing companionship and emotional support
– Preparing hot and nutritious meals
– Assisting with personal shopping and home tasks
– Administering medication
– Socialising with clients and helping them stay involved in community activities
Qualifications
– Minimum one year of professional experience in care
– Full valid UK driving licence
– Proof of right to work in the UK
– Excellent communication skills
– Compassionate and empathetic nature
– Ability to handle challenging situations professionally
Experience
– Experience in care is required. Candidates with a background in similar roles or those with relevant certifications are preferred.
Skills
– Strong interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Initiative and problem-solving abilities
