Job Description/Overview
Victory Homes Ltd. is looking for an experienced Plumber to join their team. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems while adhering to environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
– Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems
– Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures
– Join pipes using various tools and techniques such as soldering, brazing, welding, or cement
– Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
– Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing
– Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size
Qualifications
– Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
– Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in plumbing
Experience
– 2-3 years of relevant experience working in various locations
Skills
– Attention to detail and client focus
– Hand-eye coordination
– Team player mentality
Work Conditions
– Work Setting: Various locations, physical work required
– Work Type: On-site (no remote work)
– Bending, crouching, kneeling, and using tools for extended periods
Salary and Benefits
– Salary: $35.00 hourly, 30 to 35 hours per week
