Job Description/Overview:
The Administrative Assistant will arrange and coordinate seminars, manage budgets, and oversee customer service duties. The role requires handling appointments, travel arrangements, and supervising staff in a fast-paced, physical work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
– Arrange and coordinate seminars and conferences
– Plan and control budgets and expenditures
– Supervise other workers
– Schedule and confirm appointments
– Answer telephone calls and relay messages
– Arrange travel, itineraries, and make reservations
– Provide customer service
Qualifications:
– College, CEGEP, or diploma from a 1- to 2-year program
Experience:
– 2 to 3 years of experience
Skills:
– Ability to organise and coordinate events
– Strong customer service focus
– Supervisory skills
– Attention to detail
