Job Description/Overview:
Provides support and assistance to Indigenous students and families on a casual on-call basis.
Key Responsibilities:
– Offer support and resources to Indigenous students and their families
– Assist with navigating school and community services
– Facilitate communication between families and school staff
– Document and report on support provided
Qualifications:
– Experience working with Indigenous communities preferred
– Knowledge of cultural practices and traditions
Experience:
Experience in a similar role preferred
Skills:
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills
– Ability to work independently and adapt to various situations
– Understanding of Indigenous cultures and issues
