Key Responsibilities
– Operate cash register
– Use computerised inventory record-keeping and re-ordering systems
– Provide customer service
– Assist in displaying merchandise
– Conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce
– Estimate or quote prices, credit terms, warranties, and delivery dates
– Greet customers and discuss the type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services
– Maintain sales records for inventory control
