Job Description/Overview:
Excelsior Auto Service is looking for an Automotive Service Technician. The role involves repairing, inspecting, and maintaining vehicles, with a focus on environmental responsibility. The work is on-site, with no remote options available.
Key Responsibilities:
– Confirm findings with the supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace units.
– Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
– Repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems.
– Provide customer service, advising on work performed and future repair needs.
Qualifications:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
Experience:
2 years to less than 3 years.
Skills:
– Engine repair, 4-wheel drive, electrical and electronic systems.
– Diesel engines, diagnostics, alignment, and suspension.
– Welding, HVAC systems, imported vehicles.
