Job Description/Overview: 

The Front Desk Clerk at Smuggler’s Cove Inn will handle guest check-ins, reservations, and customer service. This role ensures a welcoming experience for all guests.

 

Key Responsibilities:

– Register arriving guests and assign rooms

– Resolve complaints and claims

– Provide information on hotel facilities and services

– Offer general information about local points of interest

– Process guest departures, calculate charges, and receive payments

– Maintain inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments

– Answer and relay telephone calls and messages

– Assist guests with special needs

– Provide exceptional customer service

 

Qualifications:

– Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

 

Experience: 

Experience is an asset but not required.

 

Skills:

– Strong customer service skills

– Ability to handle complaints and resolve issues

– Good communication and organizational abilities
