Job Description/Overview:
As a Cleaning Supervisor at Mears Group, you will lead a team of 12 cleaners, ensuring safety, quality, and cost standards. This role involves supervising and managing cleaning tasks, maintaining development areas, and engaging in community activities. You may also be directly involved in the cleaning work.
Key Responsibilities:
– Supervise and manage the cleaning team.
– Ensure tasks are completed to a high standard.
– Handle client requests and maintain positive communication.
– Maintain records and paperwork for audit and safety purposes.
– Highlight safeguarding concerns to the relevant personnel.
Qualifications:
Experience in providing a high level of service, ideally in the Education or Facilities sectors. Supervisory experience in a cleaning capacity is required.
Experience:
– Supervisory experience in a cleaning environment.
– Experience working on a management contract.
Skills:
– Good written and verbal communication skills.
– Numeracy skills.
– Ability to follow standard operating procedures.
– Client-focused and able to lead a team.

Additional Information:
– Salary: £23,660 per annum (Pro rata)
