Job Description/Overview
LAWSGROUP is seeking a Production Manager specializing in Cut & Sewn Knit to lead a production team in the Southeast Asia (SEA) region. The role involves establishing production processes, quality control protocols, and driving continuous improvement initiatives in garment manufacturing. The Production Manager will be responsible for meeting production targets, enhancing efficiency, and managing budgets.
Key Responsibilities
– Establish and lead a skilled production team to consistently meet and exceed production schedules and targets.
– Review and implement production processes, quality control protocols, and reporting systems aligned with corporate policies.
– Analyze production workflows, implement lean manufacturing principles, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
– Monitor and review the overall budget for P&L.
– Perform ad-hoc duties as requested.
– Stationing in the SEA region is required.
Qualifications
– Degree holder in Textile Technology, Clothing, or an equivalent qualification.
– Strong experience in a garment manufacturing environment is a must.
– At least 8 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing industry, including 3 years at a managerial level.
– Strong leadership and people management capabilities, with the ability to work under pressure.
– Excellent interpersonal and project management skills.
– Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Mandarin.
Experience
– Extensive experience in all aspects of factory operations within the garment manufacturing sector.
– Proven track record of managing production teams and driving efficiency improvements.
Skills
– Leadership and team management.
– Production planning and scheduling.
– Quality control and lean manufacturing.
– Budget management and P&L oversight.
– Proficiency in English and Chinese, including Mandarin.
