Job Description/Overview:
Working with account executives and directors to drive, lead, and execute hands-on initiatives to grow our customer base in a sustainable, repeatable, and affordable fashion
As a sales development specialist this is your main deliverable, which should be achieved using a high level of creativity, ingenuity, and out-of-the-box thinking.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation: Identify and generate new leads through various methods, including research, outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach.
Qualifying Leads: Assess and qualify potential leads based on specific criteria to determine their likelihood of converting into sales opportunities.
Cold Calling and Outreach: Engage with potential customers through cold calls and emails, introducing the company’s products or services and building initial relationships.
Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings or calls between qualified leads and sales representatives to advance the sales process.
CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all lead interactions, updating the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system regularly.
Market Research: Conduct research to understand industry trends, identify target markets, and keep up-to-date with competitor activities.
Follow-up: Regularly follow up with potential leads to maintain engagement and move them through the sales pipeline.
Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align strategies and share insights on lead quality and conversion.
Reporting: Generate reports on lead generation and qualification activities, tracking progress towards goals and identifying areas for improvement.
Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about new sales techniques, industry developments, and best practices to continuously improve sales outreach and lead conversion.
Qualifications needed
Qualifying leads and finding creative methods of generating prospects – Sales development of inbound and outbound prospects – History of generating creative solutions to problems
Experience:
Experience with sales process, salesforce, other sales related platforms. – Works well with a team – Web savvy and experienced with web tools (analytics tools, task management, CRMs, eCommerce, etc.)
