Job Description/Overview:
We are seeking a skilled assembler to join our team. As an assembler, you will be responsible for assembling various components and products. This is a hands-on position that requires the ability to use power and hand tools effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Component Assembly: Assemble various parts and components to create a finished product, following detailed instructions and blueprints.
- Quality Control: Inspect and test assembled products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Tool and Equipment Use: Operate tools, machinery, and equipment required for assembly, ensuring proper usage and maintenance.
- Material Handling: Handle and organize materials, parts, and supplies needed for the assembly process.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret and follow engineering drawings, diagrams, and work orders to correctly assemble products.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment and prevent accidents.
- Process Documentation: Record production data, such as quantities produced, assembly time, and any issues encountered, for quality and efficiency tracking.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve assembly issues or malfunctions, working with supervisors or engineers as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other assemblers, supervisors, and departments to ensure smooth production flow and meet deadlines.
- Continuous Improvement: Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
