Monday to Friday 8 am – 6 pm (45 hours per week)
Job Description/Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Vehicle Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with the ability to diagnose and fix a wide range of vehicle issues. The Vehicle Mechanic will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles are serviced and repaired in a timely, efficient, and safe manner, adhering to industry standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Identify vehicle faults
Scheduled work to be undertaken
Maintain accurate records of work in progress and completed
Test parts and systems to verify they are in working order
Carry out basic vehicle care, e.g. tyre change/oil
Provide excellent customer service
Qualifications needed
Formal qualification would be preferred
Experience:
5+ years of experience in a similar role
Dealership experience is preferred
Skills:
Understanding of Diesel/Petrol engines
Confident in Engine Rebuilding, Head Gasket replacement, and Timing Chain changes
Knowledgeable in electrics would be advantageous
Worked with brands such as Jaguar Land Rover, Mercedes, BMW, VW/Audi and Porsche
Valid driving UK driving license/International driving permit- If needed conversion assistance will be given
Positive attitude
If applying from outside of the UK, the ability to meet the Skilled Worker Visa requirements e.g., IELTS
