Job Description/Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team in Waikouaiti, Dunedin. As a key member of our operations, you will oversee the efficient and effective production processes across grading and processing at the site. They are New Zealand’s leading producer of eggs and egg products. Please note that this role is 45 minutes north of Dunedin
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth operations by driving improved performance through continuous process improvements and best practices.
- Establish and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance productivity and quality.
- Proactively address challenges to maintain production schedules and meet compliance requirements.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork amongst production staff.
- Collaborate closely with other departments to optimise production outcomes.
Qualifications needed
- Ideally, 5-10 years experience with a manufacturing and operations environment, preferably in an FMCG or allied field.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to decision-making.
- Knowledge of quality standards and compliance regulations.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Need to have people management skills
