Job Description/Overview:
Our client is looking for an additional landscape worker to join their team for on-going work around the Queenstown Lakes region. .
Experience in either gardening or landscaping is preferred, however, training will be provided.
This is an on-going role with potential to move to a permanent position for the right applicant.
Key Responsibilities
- Cutting down pest plants with a saw.
- Pasting the stalk of cut plant to avoid the regrowth.
- Removing cut plants to the waste removal plant.
- Weedeating
- Safe use of gardening tools and machinery
Qualifications needed
- A full drivers licence and able to drive manual transmission.
- Enthusiastic and willing to learn.
- Great time management.
- Excellent spoken English.
- Health & Safety conscious.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
Benefits
- Hourly pay rate of $25 – $27 (depending on experience) + Holiday pay.
- Weekly Pay.
- PPE provided.
